Let God Be True

In Matthew 7:15 the Holy Bible (NAS) states, “Everyone must worship God in spirit and in truth according to the heart of man who guides you.” Most of us who are religious will agree that this is a verse of great signifigance when it comes to worshiping God. Are you one of many who would agree with this? Is not this verse in your bible?

Ok, to be honest, Matthew 7:15 reads, “Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves,” and this is the truth spoken by Jesus Christ.

Hopefully you did not search for the emergency exit after reading the first paragraph. Please forgive me, but to best convey the purpose of this blog, I felt it necessary to begin by proving that the word of man is not justified unless it mirrors the Word of God. In other words, when it comes to our soul salvation we must trust the Word of God and allow it to verify or discredit the word of man.

Romans 3:4 reads, “May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written, that you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.”

Your eternal life will depend on whose words you follow! According to Jesus, there are many people in the world trying to sell you their phony ideas on how to handle your precious soul. That is a scary thought, isn’t it?  So how do we distinguish those who are speaking the truth from those who are speaking a lie? My friend, the answer is very simple. Search for the truth and read God’s Word for yourself.  Let God be true!
